An incredibly seaworthy semi-displacement hull "Great Skua" takes her lines from pilot boats used throughout the world akin to the Nelson and Seaward, who both fitted out their own versions of this hull. Powered by twin 335Hp Caterpillars that benefit from a 2023 full rebuild, not only is this vessel safe and fast she is also luxurious, in 2020 she had her decks renewed by Seadecks. Sleeping six in a well-appointed accommodation that has been fully reupholstered, with new carpets and mattresses, this vessel really wants for nothing.

Accommodation
Benefitting from being able to sleep six, with two heads and approx. 6'6" max. headroom and presented in wonderful condition throughout.
Entering through the sliding cockpit doors into the salon seating area. Cockpit floor level with salon. Settee berthing to port and L-shaped settee to starboard, all benefitting from recent re-upholstery. Oak joinery is in lovely condition with built-in lamp lighting. New carpet throughout.
Steering position raised to starboard with bench seating, and full engine controls and navigation instruments.
Steps down to galley area to starboard with Tricity four ring electric stove, microwave, new double sink and new fridge. Plenty of cupboard storage throughout this area. Dinette seating to port that converts to a double bed. Light oak joinery in wonderful condition, new upholstery.
Twin berth cabin to starboard with dressing area and mirror. New mattresses on both berths. Ensuite access to day heads.
Day head to starboard with marine toilet, wash basin and pull out shower. Shaver socket.
Owners cabin forward, double berth with new mattress, wardrobe space. Private ensuite toilet compartment with marine toilet and wash basin. Separate shower compartment.
Externally large cockpit with storage and aft row of seating, new upholstery and new laid teak effect decking. Flybridge with new teak effect decking, second helm position and three fixed swivelling seats in white leatherete finish.

Mechanical Systems
Located under the salon sole in a waterproof compartment that is accessed via hatch and watertight door in cockpit. Twin Caterpillar 3208TA 355Hp V8 turbocharged diesel engines. These benefit from a full out of boat rebuild at the cost of £50,000 and have done six hours since their rebuild in 2023. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Twin Disc MG507A 2.54:1 reduction gearboxes. Shaft drive via P-brackets to three blade fixed propellers. Single lever Morse controls at both helms.

Construction
Moulded by Halmatic in 1985 and featured in Motorboat and Yachting in October of that year. White GRP hull with style stripes. Rubber hull-to-deck fendering. White GRP deck and superstructure with new teak effect decking throughout. Large diameter stainless steel deck safety rails. Stainless steel and teak flybridge ladder. Hinged waterproof flybridge hatch. Twin anchor locker lids to large self-draining anchor locker. Stainless steel mooring cleats.
