The Colvic Northerner 26 is a robust, small motor cruiser powered by a single Perkins 4108 36hp diesel. This particular example was fitted to a good standard by her first owner and spent much of her early life on the Norfolk Broads followed by some years sailing the Dorset Coast then, more recently, the upper reaches of the Thames.
She is well equipped and benefits from a Vetus bowthruster, a Mercury 9.9hp 4 stroke auxiliary outboard engine with power trim and tilt, 2 new 100w solar panels, Pascal Atkey charcoal heater and Webasto heating. Currently moored in a small working boatyard with possible option to liveaboard.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation offers up to three berths in two cabins with good headroom throughout and the option of a further two under canvas.
Forecabin with twin vee berths, stowage above and below. Opening hatch to foredeck. Two opening ports. Access to anchor locker, 200 litre stainless steel water tank and dedicated bow thruster battery.
Main cabin with L shaped dinette/single berth to port with storage beneath. Pascal Atkey charcoal heater and bulkhead mounted, half model of Escargot. Galley opposite to starboard side with plentiful storage above and below, stainless steel sink with drainer with hot and cold mixer tap via calorifier, Plastimo Neptune 2500 two burner cooker with grill and inset waste bin. Five opening portlights.
Heads compartment, aft to starboard, with marine and shower.
Double opening doors to cockpit. Helm position to port with new folding helm seat (2024), wheel steering and full engine instrumentation and controls. U shaped aft seating with infill cushion converting to a double berth/sunpad. Generous cockpit stowage lockers. Access to engine. 12V/240V cool or hot box.

Hull moulded by Colvic circa 1980 and fitted out by her first owner. Grey painted GRP displacement hull with white decks and superstructure with grey painted non slip to decks and long central keel. Aluminium framed windows. Wheel steering to transom hung rudder.
