DESIGNER’S COMMENT
CHRISCO (now WHIMSEA). An incredible project, unique owners .. An unrivaled team game.
It happens, from time to time, to be able to take part in a project that simply goes over the top, it is not easy, but fortunately it happens.
Involving talent, ambitions and hard work from a large number of people of different nationalities and cultures may seem simple but the reality is that when this happens, it is something magical.
First of all, the meeting with the owners, Glass was the key word, in terms of materials and geometries. The first thing that came to my mind is that glass is hard, angular, as much as boats are delicate and linear.
From our perspective we took this challenge quickly and worked on the entire exterior design starting from the primary concept that glass panels are typically flat. So we developed a surface made up of several windows that must be seen as an object completely separate from the rest of the boat; a sort of aesthetic signature: boxed up like a precious diamond, the roof is made up of 75 peeled glass panels applied to a carbon strip structure. All this gives the hull a futuristic configuration as well as great natural light for the interiors.
From the outside, Chrisco looks pure and without contrasts. But from the inside, the armament never leaves the field of view. Navigation on board is all about the art of living.
The deckhouse extends into a large cockpit equipped with sun loungers and tables, but without maneuvering devices.
All the hydraulically operated maneuvering devices are hidden and converge near the two twin wheels of the wheelhouse. The winches present are automated and on command carry out all the winding maneuvers of the entire and complex sail plan installed.
Chrisco is not just a boat, it is the result of an enviable team game between professionals and enthusiasts.

CAPTAIN’S COMMENT
As a Captain on board this amazing yacht I can confirm that the yacht has incredible performance capabilities in light medium winds. The yacht will give an owner the feeling of a high-performance vessel while cruising in comfort with a reduced experienced crew. At anchor and in ports WHIMSEA constantly turns heads and wows others with her sleek futuristic design.
