Meridian is lightly used, Fin keel Beneteau Oceanis 31. She was manufactured in December 2008, but not launched until Spring 2010. At the end of the 2013 season she was mothballed ashore with the mast down until previous owners purchase in May 2017. Meridian has been wintered ashore every year since. She was not launched at all in 2018 following the Holyhead Marina disaster, similarly in 2020 because of covid restrictions in Wales.

Inventory / Description
Previous Owners Description
"Meridian" has been very well looked after, lightly used, and fully updated, deep keel Beneteau Oceanis 31. She was manufactured in December 2008, but not launched until Spring 2010. At the end of the 2013 season she was mothballed ashore with the mast down until our purchase in May 2017. Meridian has been wintered ashore every year since. She was not launched at all in 2018 following the Holyhead Marina disaster, similarly in 2020 because of covid restrictions in Wales. She has been much updated during our ownership. We are now looking for a larger boat Following our purchase "Meridian" was subject to comprehensive re commissioning including a full engine service, including new water pump, new exhaust elbow and two new domestic batteries. The Volvo stern gland was also replaced as a precaution. Other replacements included a new lazyjack lines (2023) stack pack bag and binnacle/wheel cover together with a full professional topside polish. All mast sheaves, lines, electronics plus a comprehensive rigging check was carried out prior to re stepping the mast. Already immaculate inside reflecting her little use, she presented in May 2017 as new following polishing and re antifouling in black to match the new stack pack / binnacle cover. Sails are in good condition with genoa UV strip replaced April 2018. 6 man canister liferaft (out of service) "Meridian" is a standard wheel steering Beneteau 31 with Raymarine instruments including Axiom+9 MFD (2023), ST60 speed, wind & depth (all Raymarine NG backbone linked (2020). Standard Horizon DSC AIS VHF (2019), Raymarine Evolution Autopilot (2020), Digital Yacht Wi Fi AIS Transmitter / Receiver (2021) She also has a full inventory of mooring ropes and lines, fenders, fire extinguishers, domestic cutlery & crockery. She has anchor and chain handled by a remote electric windlass. Two new Harken ST35 coachroof winches (2022) and associated lines and halyards for a Cruising Chute (2022) also only used a handful of times. Currently afloat in Holyhead.
