Launched in late 2022 as a 2023 model, SEMPER MEMENTO VIVERE is a very lightly and privately used and essentially ‘as new’, high specification example of the Ken Freivokh designed Magellano 25m semi-displacement trawler yacht from the Benetti/Azimut Group.
With CE Category A (Ocean) classification and a generous 750Nm (approx 1,300Nm at lower displacement speeds) range care of her low-hours twin MAN 1,550hp engines, SEMPER MEMENTO VIVERE has the capability to take her owners and guests almost anywhere in complete comfort and safety with speeds of up to 24 Knots available when required. Comfort under way is assisted by her Humphree Interceptor trim-tab system along Humphree zero-speed fin stabiliser system which also provides comfort at anchor along with extensive use of carbon fibre in her upper structures to minimise her centre of gravity.
Her ‘boutique hotel’ style interiors, designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis, are spacious, bright and calming with four large double guest cabins, all with ensuites, a further day heads, and two crew cabins for up to four crew, complete with crew mess area.

AN INFINITIVE TERRACE OVER THE SEA.
The innovative cockpit design features a pivoting transom that can be lowered to leave a transparent parapet, transforming the space into a glorious terrace with unimpeded views onto the sea. The transom, which serves as the garage hatch, also creates a spacious bathing platform by the water’s edge when unfolded.
INTERIOR
The layout thoughtfully places the Raised Pilot House and a completely closed galley at the bow with direct access to the crew quarters, allowing the crew to work uninterrupted using separate flows between the directly connected internal and external helm stations as well as the side door out of the galley.
DESIGNED FOR LONG JOURNEYS
The interiors are designed for long stays on board in superb comfort, with generous spaces and abundant storage. Enclosing ample and welcoming environments, common as well as personal, the Magellano 25M offers a full-beam owner’s suite amidships with an expansive washroom, two VIP suites, both with queen-sized beds, and a fourth guest cabin with twin beds.
AZIMUT DUAL MODE HULL
The Dual Mode hull is a highly efficient semi-planing hull designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 20% at medium speeds, guaranteeing superior navigation comfort in a wider range of sea conditions. The double-chine hull, combined with the vertical bow, minimizes the impact of waves and thus offers greater freedom of navigation, cruising comfortably at low speeds for extended durations as well as at higher speeds, compared to vessels of the same weight and size with a traditional hard-chine hull.
CONSTRUCTION
Azimut’s pioneering use of carbon fiber lamination goes beyond pure performance. The Carbon Tech Generation offers expanded volumes onboard, while maintaining excellent dynamic stability and perfect handling. Preserving the low center of gravity, the carbon fiber was focused on the upper parts of the yacht, lightening the laminated components by up to 30% and reducing the natural roll momentum up to 15%.
SUPERYACHT-LEVEL SILENCE
Aspiring to maximize comfort, the yacht is built to the elevated technical standards of a larger vessel. From flexible couplings connecting the engines and inverters to acoustic floating solutions for the floor, walls and ceiling of the owner’s suite, the emphasis is on reducing noise and vibrations to an absolute minimum.

PRESS REVIEW:
The Magellano 25 is an elegant and efficient motoryacht, with interiors designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis, who has managed to instil unusual charm in the model. The exterior lines have been designed by Ken Freivokh, the same man who created the first model in the range, the Magellano 74, a decade ago.
With the Magellano series, Azimut spotted a niche in the market in 2009 for yachts designed to stay at sea a long time in complete calm. The name of the range was itself chosen to suggest long voyages, to destinations which aren’t exactly around the corner. Ken Freivokh, who interpreted the spirit of the project, gave the first Magellano 74 strong, enveloping lines which, by being compact, echoed the yacht’s solidity and dependability. Just what an owner wants when they push on beyond the most-travelled routes. Over the years, the collection has evolved, while keeping the original spirit thanks to the work of another heavyweight designer, Dutchman Cor D. Rover.
The Magellano collection currently covers four models: from the smallest, the Magellano 43, a distillation of the characteristics of the range, to the 53 and the 66, and up to the Magellano 25 which, for the moment holds the role of the flagship to the range.
