Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hull, deck and superstructure made in very solid GRP.
• Top sides red repainted in 2013.
• Superstructure repainted in 2019 2019.
• Sandwich GRP (Balsa-cored) above the waterline with solid layup below.
• System of framing reinforces the hull.
• Structural bulkheads to bond hull and deck.
• Balsa-cored deck.
• Teak laid cockpit, deck and superstructure new done in 2004 and serviced in 2019.

Keel & Rudder:

• Lead fin keel.
• Foam cored GRP rudder blade with stainless steel shaft.
• Full length skeg.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 2 x Perkins 135hp 6-cylinder year 2004.
• Aspirated diesel engine with cockpit controls and alarm system.
• Propeller shaft brakes with remote from the cockpit.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Complete refit in 2019: new freshwater cooling system via sea water
• and heat exchanger and new injectors, overhauled injection pump and inverters.
• Engine hours approx. 2,600 hours @ 2023.
• Engine serviced regularly – last service in 2022.
• Fuel consumption: approx. 20 litres per hour at 1,600 RPM.
• Range: 900 Nm @ cruising speed of approx. 9 knots @ 1,600 rpm.

Propulsion & Steering:

• Bruntons 2 x feathering 3-bladed propellers – 2020.
• Stainless steel propeller shafts supported by p-brackets.
• Cable, chain and hydraulic actuator wheel steering.

• Hot water supply via engine heat echanger.
• 1 x Quick 30 l 1200 w water heater + 1 x Seaworld 30 l 1500 w water heater.
• powered by shorepower or generator.

Watermaker:

• Schenker Smart 100 l/hr watermaker - 2013, overhauled 2020.

Bilge Pumps:

• Manual and electric bilge pumps.
• Engine (starboard side) operated high flow bilge.

Tankage

Fuel:

• 2 x fuel tanks with total capacity of 2400 litres.

Fresh Water:

• Total fresh water capacity of 3060 litres in 2 tanks. 1 x tank of  1360 litre + 1 x tank of 1700 litres.
• Both tanks inspected and cleaned 2022.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 2 x greywater tanks, one at bow holding 40 litres, with manual and automatic discharge -2022, and one aft.
• 2 x blackwater tanks, with sea water rinse system and waste suction cap on deck.

• B&G Plotter at the chartable – 2013.
• Raymarine chartplotter at the chart table.
• Raymarine Axiom 12” GPS chartplotter at the steering pedestal – 2022.

Description of layout from forwards:

• 1 x crew bunk in the fore-peak, access to the deck from large opening hatch.
• 1 x crew pulman cabin to port in the bow with crew head to starboard.
• At centre to port, VIP cabin with pullman berths and ensuite head.
• At centre to starboard, linear galley.
• The saloon is raised and has a semi-circular dining area to port and a linear sofa to starboard.
• The comprehensively equipped chart table and electronics area is to the starboard side of the entry steps.
• Aft to port of the saloon access steps is a corridor to the aft VIP and master cabins.
