Dehler Yachts was founded in 1975, in Neustadt-Glewe in the former East Germany (GDR). The company had a strong focus on the production of sailing dinghies and small cruiser yachts and also produced a number of other boats, including the successful Salona line of sailboats. Over the following decades, Dehler grew significantly, establishing a solid foothold in the European yacht market.
In 2012 the company was purchased by Hanse, one of the leading boat builders in Europe, who moved production of the Dehler range to their facility in Greifswald, Germany. Under the Hanse Group, Dehler has continued their focus on building fast, manoeuvrable sailing yachts and has seen substantial growth and success in recent years.
The current Dehler range includes cruiser racers, daysailers, performance cruisers and a range of Maxi Yachts for competitive and luxury sailing. Dehler yachts are notable for their lightweight build and striking modern designs and have won numerous awards for their innovative construction and performance over the years.
