Accommodation
Six berths in two cabins with 5'11" maximum headroom. Forward cabin with V berth and infill to form a double. Saloon with settee berths, large central folding table and storage. Galley to starboard consisting of a gimballed gas cooker with 2-burners and grill (new gas piping in 2022), fridge and sink with hot and cold water supply. Heads to port with Jabsco marine toilet, basin with hot and cold water supply and shower plus storage. Pressurised hot and cold water supply via calorifier (50 litre calorifier). Aft double berth with privacy curtain to separate from main cabin, storage and hanging locker. Curtains.
Mechanical Systems
Located in engine box beneath companionway. Volvo Penta D2 marine diesel engine. 20hp. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Morse twin lever engine controls. Engine panel with rev counter, engine hours, voltage, temperature and fuel gauges. Shaft drive to fixed 3-bladed propeller. 70 litres fuel capacity in steel tank. Approx. 500 hours logged on engine. Engine serviced annually.
Electrical Systems
2 x 12-volt batteries charged via engine alternator, shore power charger and solar panel. (2023 & 2021 batteries). 240-volt ring mains with sockets and immersion heater. 12v Instrument panel. Full cabin interior lighting.

Construction
Catalina 28 built by Catalina Yachts in 1997 to their own design. White GRP hull with style stripes. Hull Coppercoat in 2018. White GRP coachroof with moulded non skid decks. Cast iron shallow draft wing keel. Wheel steering to spade rudder. Self draining cockpit.
