Cordelia is of round bilge construction and filled with long bilge keels to minimise rolling, not only is she well built she is also an extremely pretty vessel and well equipped. Powered by a frugal Ford Lehman 120 hp engine mounted midships and accessed from beneath the saloon sole boards, or via a cockpit hatch for daily checks. a total of 600 gallons (2727 Litres) of diesel fuel is carried in two 300 gallon tanks. The engine is fresh water cooled from two side ballast tanks, no through hull fittings for this system and plentiful hot water for the radiators in the saloon and forward cabin.
The cockpit is large and protected by substantial bulwarks topped with stainless steel guard rails.
The trawl equipment is believed to be in full working order, all hydraulic pumps, winches and hoses were replaced in 2019 and the hydraulic tank holds 40 gallons of oil. also in 2019 a new net drum gearbox was fitted together with a new deck wash system including pump.
The deck saloon and wheelhouse areas are very comfortable, welcoming and finished in quality hardwoods throughout. The forward cabin has a single berth to port with hardwood fittings to starboard incorporating galley utilities consisting of refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Centre line steps lead up to the helm and deck saloon with seating around the dining table to starboard and helm and linear galley to port.
Mounted at the helm is a Bosun Sowester steering compass, Garmin 2010C chartplotter/depth sounder, Navman Tracker 5600 chart plotter, Furuno 1623 radar and a Sailor Compact VHF base unit. Cordelia is also fitted with a Victron Phoenix battery charger/inverter, a 24 volt charger and 1800 watt pure sine wave inverter.
