A "not to be missed" opportunity to acquire what is probably one of the finest of the San Remo 33 class afloat today. Not only does she look the part but she has also been exceptionally well maintained by the current, very experienced, owner. Frayed Knot has not been left sitting on her marina for months, and even years, at a time, She is a regular visitor to the Isle of Man, the Scottish coast and also across to Belfast in Northern Ireland, her twin Volvo Penta AD40 six cylinder diesels have certainly benefitted from regular usage.
During the past eighteen months she has been fitted with the following:-
New turbos and exhaust elbows for both engines
New starter motors for both engines
New hydraulic rams on both stern drives.
New alternator fitted
New calorifier fitted
New freshwater pump fitted
One new engine battery and new drive belts on both engines.
New radar dome, new DSC VHF base unit and new speed log.
In addition, during the course of the last winter, both sterndrive units were removed from the vessel and delivered to Coastal Rides for a full service and the vessel was fitted with new anodes and given new antifouling in May 2024.
Frayed Knot has a comprehensive array of navigational aids including a Cetrek Pilot 730; Furuno LCD Radar; Advansea C36 chart plotter, a Garmin GPS Map 180 and a Raymarine A98 multifunction device. The A98 WiFi multifunction device utilises the LightHouse II system in a fast and fluid touch screen experience. With extensive networking options, the A98 will put you in control of charts, sonar, radar and more, where fitted.
The vessel is currently afloat and in commission in Maryport Marina, Cumbria.
