The Silver Raptor is not only the first fiberglass Silver model, but it is also the largest Silver model to date. This bold and well-shaped 8.05 meter Day-Cruiser is suitable for anyone who wants to take both family and friends on a trip. Bed space for at least 6 people, a pantry with a gas stove and fridge and a separate toilet with salt water flushing inside the cabin make for comfortable trips.
The boat was designed by the Norwegian design agency Eker Design AS and is based on Petestep® technology. The bold and well-shaped hull needed a clean but modern interior. Silver chose calm, harmonious gray tones, black detailing and a cool, tan composite teak deck, which is an eco-friendly option that has a comfortable feel. The end result is a modern and timeless day cruiser with a Scandinavian touch that suits a wide variety of boaters.
Cruising around in a Silver Raptor is a comfortable, and a good experience. Thanks to the Petestep® hull, the interior remains very protected from sea spray. The hull makes the boat stable and smooth to drive. The elegant windscreen, which continues aft to the stern, provides considerable protection against the airflow throughout the cockpit, and the driver has good visibility in all conditions. The driver's windscreen is equipped with an integrated defrost function. The control console is designed not only with style, but especially with ergonomics in mind. The instrument panel contains both a Raymarine Axiom screen and space for a separate tablet.
Silver Raptor is a day cruiser made for socializing, thanks in large part to the spacious cockpit with its large U-shaped sofa. At the table in the cockpit, up to eight adults can sit comfortably. By lowering the table and adding cushions, a large sunbed is formed in the stern. This sunbed also doubles as a double bed.
Trip comfort is increased with the pantry located on the port side, complete with gas stove, sink and bench space, as well as with the closed seawater toilet in the cabin. A double battery system provides power supply.
The driver's wide, swiveling seat is generous and comfortable, and it has a folding front section that enables a standing steering position.
As the Silver Raptor is a large first-class day cruiser, multi-person beds and plenty of storage space are more of an expectation than a desire. The cabin sleeps four, and the sunbed in the stern also doubles as a bed for two adults. For those who sleep in the cockpit, the cockpit can be equipped with separate blackout curtains for some privacy. The curtain set is supplied with a drop curtain, which limits the view from the pier.
Large storage spaces can be found in the U-shaped sofa and under the double bed in the cabin. Other storage spaces include compartments in the console and pantry, a storage space under the driver's seat and shelves in the cabin. The rear corners are equipped with fender compartments and boxes for mooring lines and anchors. A box for mooring lines is also found in the bow, complete with a folding bow ladder.
