Built by T+D Industries with an unconfirmed association with Lydia Yachts of Stuart Florida, MAHI DREAM had her original Detroit Diesel 12V71 TI’s replaced with 1150 hp MTU 12V183’s in approximately 2003.
A further refit ending in 2005 saw Rybovich craftsmen replacing all of her interior joinery to a much higher standard than her original build. Subsequent refits included a new single fuel tank and cockpit sole in approximately 2019. Easy to see in Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Walkthrough
Boarding MAHI DREAM is over the port or starboard covering boards into the large cockpit.
The cockpit has a removable fighting chair with a table that can sit on the chair pedestal. Aft facing seating plus plenty of storage are highlights.
Two steps up to starboard is the salon with large side house windows, a starboard side love seat and port side L-shaped sofa with storage below and a burlwood and teak table in front. A 42” TV faces the sofa.
The galley is both port and starboard with plenty of storage.
A centerline companionway leads to the 3 cabins below. To starboard is the ensuite master, forward is the VIP and to port is a shared head and an over/under cabin.
The flybridge has ample seating, a wet bar, and A/C within the fully enclosed flybridge.
Salon
Entered via the starboard side a teak grate landing is just inside the door. Immediately outboard is the two door electrical panel with a granite shelf above.
Next forward is a two person love seat with storage below. The love seat and adjacent sofa are covered with an ostrich embossed leather.
To port is a very large L-shaped sofa with full storage below. Also under the salon sofa cushions is a small top loading freezer which can be used as additional refrigeration by adjusting the thermostat. Lying in front of the sofa is a custom wood table that hides the Murray Brothers full size fighting chair.
The sole is carpeted over a varnished teak and holly sole.
Also in the salon are digital A/C controls, 8 overhead LED lights, Duette shades on the large side and aft windows, Bose cube stereo speakers and a 42” flatscreen TV that can be concealed behind tambour doors.
A carpet runner can be installed as needed.
Galley
Forward but open to the salon is the galley which occupies the port and starboard sides. To port are two Sanyo refrigerators and a Kenmore ‘clear ice’ icemaker all behind matched grain teak doors. Above is a Jaguar granite countertop with four covered teak cabinet doors.
To starboard is a matching Jaguar countertop with a teak keeper.

Conpanionway
Centerline is the companionway to below with five varnished steps and a compass rose ceiling detail. Two triangular cabinets are at the steps.
The deck below is teak and holly. To port is an over/under cabin. To starboard is the ensuite master. Forward to port is the guest head. All the way forward is the VIP.
Master
Entered via the aft end the master berth is aft and outboard. There are two large drawers and rope lighting below the berth. Inboard is a nightstand with a drawer and cabinets. The entire aft bulkhead is mirrored. Above is a teak soffit with three light fixtures. Outboard is a shelf above the berth.
At the foot of the berth is a mirrored door cabinet with three shelves within and two drawers below. Forward is a cabinet with three doors as a hanging locker and shelf storage.
Also in the master cabin are stereo speakers, four overhead LED lights, Phillips 12” TV, digital A/C controls, a varnished sole and a PC AM/FM/CD/DVD player.
Master Head
Just forward and within the master is the head with a two cabinet vanity below a Corian top with molded sink. Above are two sliding doors for storage and two mirrored medicine cabinet doors.
The toilet is a headhunter model set upon a varnished teak and holly sole. The stall shower has a glass and teak door, a teak grate sole, a light and a wall mounted fixture. Also in the head are four overhead LED lights, an exhaust fan and an A/C vent.
Starboard Guest Cabin
Immediately to starboard down the stairs is an upper and lower bunk cabin with two single berths on the outboard bulkhead.
Below the lower berth are two storage drawers. Each berth has a reading light. At the forward end of the berths is a full height cedar lined hanging locker.
Inboard are magazine/book shelves, a three drawer chest that fills the space of a combo washer/dryer (removed but plumbing exists).
Also in the cabin is a teak and holly sole, three overhead LED lights, rope lighting below the lower berth, stereo speaker and a Sharp 15” TV.
Guest Head
Just forward of the port side bunk cabin and aft of the VIP on the starboard side is the guest head.
A two door vanity with a Corian countertop and molded sink sit upon a highly varnished teak and holy sole. Above the vanity are four sliding door storage areas and four mirrored medicine cabinet doors for abundant storage. The toilet is a Headhunter model.
The stall shower has a hinged teak and gloss door, a teak grate sole, a seat, an overhead hatch and a fixed mount shower fixture.
Also in the head is an exhaust fan, five overhead lights and an A/C outlet. There is a door into the forward VIP as well as into the centerline companionway.
VIP
All the way forward is the VIP cabin with a double berth forward off the starboard side bulkhead.
Below the berth are four drawers and a small step with indirect rope lighting at the base. Above the berth outboard are shelves, two varnished tambour storage lockers and a Sharp 19” TV. The head of the berth has two swing arm reading lights flanking a door into the anchor locker.
To port is a mirrored door with cedar lined shelving within. A tambour door storage locker, a vanity with a slide out tray, two cabinet doors and a full height cedar lined hanging locker are aft.
The sole is varnished teak and holly. Overhead are four LED lights, two stereo speakers and a deck hatch for ventilation and escape.
Also in the cabin are digital A/C controls and a door into the guest head.

MAHI DREAM was purchased in August 2020 and has benefitted from countless small upgrades to be the fine custom yacht she is today. April 2023 yard visit including bottom service, etc. Upon closing the Buyer will receive a huge file of her history, refits, etc. totaling well over 1 million dollars.
