Jeanneau generally supplies quality boats with an appealing design, both sailing and motor boats. The NC 14 is solidly built and solidly equipped, and appears nicely used and in very good condition.
Floor plan
NC 14 is an "apartment on the water" with clear and clean surfaces and it is easy to move around. Note that the starboard dollboard is somewhat wider than on the port side and will be used the most. Easy access via solid aft platform.
The aft deck and saloon feel connected when the doors are opened. Practical sliding door at the driver's seat makes it easy to get out to handle ropes etc. when loading. The outdoor area has elements found on much larger motor yachts, including the social U-shaped sofa at the back.
The lounge is open and bright, with large window surfaces and an electric sunroof. Here you will find a large lounge with another U-shaped sofa. In addition, there is a pleasant seating area facing the driver's seat, so that it is easier to have a social time when you set out on a trip.
In the salon you will also find the galley, which is elongated and rich in content.
Stairs down to the front of the boat where you will find 2 cabins and 2 bathrooms. The cabin in the bow is a spacious owner's cabin with a double bed and a bathroom suite with toilet and shower. The double bed can be split into 2 separate beds. The second cabin has 2 single berths and easy access to the bathroom and guest toilet in the landing outside the cabin. It can also accommodate up to 2 people in the lounge.

Sea worthiness and maneuvering
Good and steady in the sea, with a good overview for the boat operator. The boat plans easily. CE class B. Cruises at a comfortable 18 knots and the boat has a top speed of 27 knots.
With IPS drive in addition to both bow and stern thrusters, you can turn the boat around its own axis and easily move the boat sideways exactly as you want. This is practical in narrow waters, such as inside a harbor or if you are going to dock between some islets and want full control of the vessel.

Motor and mechanical
The engines are two 370 hp diesel Volvo Penta D6 IPS 500 which have only run 62 hours!
The IPS system from Volvo Penta with pod drives has become more and more common and popular, and provides very good manoeuvrability. The boat also has bow and stern thrusters that are synced with a joystick.
