The Dufour 410 Grand Large is a modern cruiser built by the renowned French yard, founded by Michel Dufour back in 1964, which has produced a large number of sailboat models during the last 60 years.
This specific Dufour 410 GL - VAI - was delivered to her first (German) owner in 2013 and was purchased by her current (second) owner 5 years ago. In recent years, she has been sailed in Scandinavian waters during the summer season, mainly in the archipelago on the Swedish west coast.
VAI is equipped with a conventional mast, mainsail with a lazy bag and furling jib. The sail wardrobe also includes a furling Code 0 and a spinnaker.
The cockpit is very spacious with twin wheels, a foldable swim platform, a large, fixed cockpit table and great storage space. A practical folding cockpit tent/bimini with removable side panels provides good protection on both sunny and rainy days.
The bright interior includes a captain's cabin forward with a double berth and two aft cabins with double berths, allowing 6 people to sleep comfortably. Directly adjacent to the companionway is a galley to starboard and a head with shower to port. The saloon is bright and spacious with a sofa, table, seating to port and a navigation station to starboard.
During her current ownership, VAI has been professionally maintained and stored indoors during the winter season. The boat has received several upgrades, such as a new plotter, new stern thrusters, new sail drive seal, new sprayhood and bimini and much more.
If you are looking for a modern 3-cabin family cruiser in good general condition, VAI is definitely worth a visit!
