English
Pieter Hendrik is a one-off Dutch steel auxiliary ketch motorsailer designed as an ocean-going motor-sailing vessel with a traditional trawler-shaped hull and canoe stern. Her tabernacle mounted masts and spars allow the rig to be lowered for canal passages.
She would make a comfortable liveaboard for a couple, or a safe and capable vessel for exploring the coasts of Britain and Europe.
The hull is of 4 and 5mm steel plate on steel frames and scantlings. The deck and superstructure are also in steel.
Accommodation comprises a spacious wheelhouse (with settee / pilot berth) leading forward to the saloon, with separate heads compartment and galley to starboard, and a cabin in the forepeak. The cockpit canopy provides an adaptable space that can be fully enclosed or opened up for an outdoor seating area.
She has been partly refurbished so there is scope to redefine the forepeak layout and upgrade the heads compartment.
