Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised C – “Coastal” for 8 persons on board.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Epoxy-sheathed timber hull in Douglas Fir strip plank construction over laminated frames, with two layer of double diagonal mahogany veneers bonded to the planks and coated in epoxy resin-impregnated glass fibre cloth.
• Hull topsides painted in Flag Blue Awlgrip paint system, with white boot top.
• Interior joinery in selected Cornish Chestnut and Black Walnut.
• Varnished solid teak deckhouse and superstructure, with toughened glass windows and stainless steel trim.
• Decks in 12mm marine ply sheathed with epoxy and overlaid with a fully swept teak deck.
• Teak cockpit sole with hinged access hatch to batteries, shafts, etc.
• Teak sprayrail to topsides.
• Varnished teak transom, with yacht name in highly-polished stainless steel.
• Epoxy coating to hull and topsides.
• CopperCoat antifouling.

Engines & Gearboxes:

• 2 x Yanmar 4JHS-DTE 125hp@3800RPM 4-cylinder diesel engines – turbo-charged and intercooled.
• Key switch engine start at the helm console.
• Dual chromed MT-3 Morse Marine top-mount single lever throttle and gear controls.

Galley:

• Located both sides and accessed down two steps in the forward end of the saloon.
