A lovely Arcona 410 available now!
With one owner from new, she has the rare two cabin layout. She has an upgraded engine and many optional extras.
In the words of the current owner, who is retiring from sailing... 'Aefre' is the most rewarding boat I have ever sailed.
To sail upwind higher than all but out and out racing boats is enormously rewarding, but even more so is to sail on close reach in light airs with the code 0 drawing.
Add to this the wonderful aesthetics, typical of Arcona, and the extremely comfortable interior and you have an exceptional vessel indeed.
Apart from one Round the Island adventure 'Aefre' has not been raced and she remains in splendid condition.
General Description
The Arcona 410, with her beautiful lines and modern hull shape, continues in the tradition of Arcona Yachts for quality and attention to detail. The first of the Arcona range to carry twin wheels, she combines exceptional sailing performance whether cruising or racing with roomy comfort for family and crew.
Her lay-up, which incorporates a 20mm Divinycell foam core everywhere except in the areas of high structural load, employs the latest vacuum infusion technology. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. At the heart of the boat is the galvanised steel cradle taking all the dynamic loads of rig, mast, and keel, ensuring that the boat is both strong and stiff, as well as responsive.
Her keel design and beautifully-balanced rudder, together with the thoughtful deck layout and wide side decks make her easy to handle under sail. Aefre has teak in her cockpit and a hidden cockpit table.
The interior is of farmed Khaya mahogany and is beautifully handcrafted with a golden satin finish. The 410 has plentiful hand holds in the saloon area, with everything thoughtfully laid out for passage sailing. Her thick cushions are upholstered in a plush Swedish light grey upholstery fabric.
Her owners are enthusiastic cooks, so she has a GN Espace Levante 3- burner hob and cooker.
