GESPONSORD ARTIKEL
Offering nine prime South Coast locations and with an enviable record of investment in its marinas, Premier is arguably the UK’s leading marina operator. This year the group, which owns and operates marinas at Eastbourne, Brighton, Chichester, Southsea, Port Solent, Gosport, Swanwick, Noss on Dart and Falmouth, is planning to spend £11m on marina improvements. These improvements will include improvements to marina infrastructures; a reconfiguration of Port Solent Marina to accommodate bigger boats; the refurbishment of facilities at Brighton and Southsea to bring them up to the ‘Premier luxury standard’; key dredging projects across the group and the widening of the road bridge at Noss-on-Dart marking the prelude to the anticipated £75m re-development of this 35 acre site,
But that’s not all. To celebrate the start of the season, Premier is looking forward to hosting no less than 5 spring boat shows.
Swanwick Marina is set for two shows in one at Easter as it hosts its annual Motorboat and RIB Show (31st March – 1st April) and running alongside that will be a Pre-Season general Boat Show from 30th March to 2nd April.
The Motorboat & RIB Show will showcase all types of ‘stackable’ boats up to 11m, including sports boats, RIBS and fishing boats. The four day Pre-Season Show will include a fantastic line-up of bigger new and used motor boats and yachts presented by the marinas’ onsite line up of top brand brokers.
These free-admission shows will be followed by a Boat Show at Chichester Marina (21st-22nd April) and the British Motor Yacht Show (18th-20th May), that brings together three of the most prestigious motor yacht brands in the world - Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker. This show will also feature a range of prestigious cars including Porsche, Tesla, Maserati and Bentley.
On 28th/29th April Premier’s Brighton Marina will hold open days at East Lockside; these days will feature a line-up of boats for sale; live music and safety events.
Alongside these shows, Premier’s annual programme includes an exciting line up of RYA Active Marina events in collaboration with local partnerships, including a talk by Tom Cunliffe at Brighton Marina Yacht Club on 24th March and a safety weekend on 14th April at Eastbourne Marina.
