Unfortunately it's time to sell our beautiful S&S 44, we had her set up ready to cruise the globe, but due to health issues she is now for sale in Phuket, Thailand.
In 2021 whilst in Brisbane Australia we had all the standing and running rigging replaced, we installed 600 amps of house batteries, new Enerdrive 2400 watt inverter and battery charger and 200 amps of engine batteries, there is 460 watts of solar panels fitted above the davits, we installed a rainman watermaker with 90 litres of fresh drinking water made every hour,
A new Honda GU 22 generator.
The engine was reconditioned before we departed.
Once we reached Malaysia in January 2023, we hauled Watusi 2 out and had the rudder removed and propeller shaft removed replaced all cutlass bearings and drive shaft bearings, replaced the rudder bearings and stainless pins, we had new cushions made for the cockpit new sail bag for main and new dodger for the cockpit. The hull was water blasted sanded and 4 coats of antifouled applied, there was also a new 9" raymarine chart plotter installed with new 3d imaging transducer, and new raymarine radar.
There is a 2.7 meter AB rib tender with new 2023 Yamaha 9.9 hp motor.
Watusi 2 is ready to go around the world, the new owners need only pack there cloths and set sail, she will be sold with everything you need.
