When you approach a Maxi 1100, you will always think what a gorgeous looking boat she is. The ingenius designer of the Maxi 1100, Pelle Peterson, managed to pull off a magic trick by designing a yacht that looks great, has wonderful sailing performance, yet somehow has ultra comfortable and spacious accommodation down below.
But the beauty isn't only skin deep. When you step aboard a Maxi 1100, you will be immediately impressed by the quality of finish down below, the generous storage both inside and out, and the fact that here is a boat that sails extremely well yet is easy to handle. There is so much to love.
"Maxi Magic" has been subject to loving ownership, and it shows. The engine bay is immaculate, the teak cockpit is treated with Semco twice a year, and her owner (an ex Rolls Royce aero engine engineer) puts the same level of attention to his boat as he did to keep you safe when flying aboard a Rolls Royce powered aircraft.
This Maxi 1100 boasts a huge specification and numerous upgrades (detailed below) that includes radar, AIS, heating, dinghy and outboard, electric anchor windlass, 2024 sprayhood, 2024 wheel cover and much, much more.

Owner's Comments
Over the last 17 years Maxi Magic (Maxi 1100) has given us current co-owners a huge amount of pleasure and adventure. Well natured, responsive and easy to handle, but also quick, she has been Cross Chanel and down to the West Country and Isles of Scilly multiple times and being based in Poole has done countless visits to the Solent, Weymouth and I.O.W. She is also great for a day out from Poole.
Well made Hull by Nimbus Boats and finished by Maxi Yachts, she is a rigid premium quality Cat A sailing vessel which has always felt safe in all conditions. She has a generous and well proportioned cabin layout with plenty of storage with 3 big lazarettes and well configured bathing platform.
This is a reluctant sale as unfortunately one us has a medical condition that has brought his sailing days to an end.
Any new owner, we believe, will be delighted with this fine boat.
