Layout & Accommodations
The Lagoon 400’s wide beam provides interior space comparable to many 45-foot catamarans. 6'10" headroom on the bridge deck offers exceptional spaciousness for its size. Four cabins with en suites accommodate up to eight guests, plus an additional berth on the saloon couch. The interior table replaced with a cushioned ottoman storage box; original table fittings retained for reinstatement.
Galley
She comes with a new (2024) eno 3 burner stove, eno oven, electric kettle, and portable induction burner
All gas lines were replaced in 2024 as well as installation of an alarm and solenoid switch in the gas locker
A large bench overlooking the outdoor seating area means that you can be cooking up a storm without missing out on the socialising outside
At the back of the boat, the Weber BBQ sits on a custom table wide enough to fillet the Mahi you've just reeled in
If there's too much to eat now, you can put some of the fish in the 65L freezer, or one of the two refrigerators
Twin sinks and a self draining drying area make clean up easy
Deck & Equipment
Good Stuff is held in place by her oversized 40kg Rocna anchor shackled to 100m of 10mm chain, and carries 2 spare anchors. Her davits have been raised and reinforced, and hold the tender well clear of waves.

Four solar panels putting out an enormous 1,860w are mounted aft of the cockpit, providing shade and all the power you need to stay away from marinas for as long as you'd like. A 60lph 12v water maker runs all day off the solar panels, along with the two fridges and freezer. All the while, Starlink keeps you connected.

Her tender is a 3.1m rigid hulled inflatable with stainless steel beach wheels, powered by a 2019 15hp Honda, easily riding on the plane with 3 large adults.

A brand new liferaft was purchased for a December 2024 Atlantic crossing, and comes with a comprehensive grab bag and first aid kit. Other safety equipment includes 6 inflatable lifejackets, an EPIRB, a standard horseshoe bouy and a lifesling with recovery rope.
Electronics & Navigation
A Raymarine electronics suite has been partially updated over the years and on top of her original 3x i60 and 1x p60 displays
Two new Axiom plotters in 2024 (one at the helm and one at the nav station)
A quantum radar was installed in 2019.
AIS is provided by an Emtrack class B transponder, installed in 2024.
A new temp/log/depth Airmar transducer was installed in 2024, and the wind instrument serviced in 2022.
Reliable Raymarine autopilot drives a solid L&S hydraulic ram at the rudderstock.
Electrical, Power & Plumbing
Completely self sufficient with 1,860W of solar, a 1,120ah Lithium bank, and a 3kw Victron inverter.
Battery and solar setup are both from 2024.
Extensive electrical and plumbing tools come with the boat, and a huge range of spare parts (including a replacement water pump).
Engine & Mechanical
Twin 39hp Yanmars have around 5,000 hours, have been regularly serviced, and run beautifully.
SD50 saildrives have had frequent oil changes, and have recently had their seals replaced and a breather added to the oil reservoir.
Sails & Rigging
Original Incedence main and headsail were serviced in 2024 by a sailmaker
Additional 2016 headsail can be run on the furler foil for long downwind passages.
The sails are easy to manage singlehandedly with the electric winch and lines led back to the cockpit.
A North code 1 on a Facnor continuous furler has only been used for two seasons, and flies beautifully on a dyneema halyard and sheets.
Standing rigging was replaced in 2022
Seagull striker wire replaced in 2024
All running rigging replaced in 2024.
A new bimini, full canvas enclosure, and main sail bag was made in 2022.
Additional Information
Good Stuff's current owners have spent the last three years and thousands of dollars getting her ready to take the scenic route back to New Zealand. A family matter has unexpectedly cut the trip short, and has forced a sale. Whether you're ready to move aboard and go full-time cruising, or you just like to go sailing in the weekends with friends and family, Good Stuff represents incredible value for the much loved Lagoon 400.
