The Hallberg-Rassy 36 continues to be an outstanding cruising yacht and one of the most sought-after models produced by the globally acclaimed Swedish yacht builder.
Designed by German Frers, this mid-sized yacht offers a secure cruising experience, constructed to the highest Swedish quality standards, featuring elegant lines and reliable performance in any conditions.
SHISMIK is in exceptional condition both above and below decks, showcasing the meticulous care it has received from its owners. Benefiting from a winter cover and five months of dry storage annually, its engine bay is immaculate, housing a main engine and generator that are both in perfect working order.
Internally, the joinery stands out for its remarkable condition, cleanliness, and high quality finish. The saloon is spacious with ample headroom and seating for six or seven around the table. The forward section includes a generous heads and guest quarters, while the aft is dedicated to a large, full-width cabin with three berths.

Accommodation
All interior woodwork in light mahogany matt silk finish. Floor is varnished teak with inlaid holly stripes. Saloon ceiling has paneling with mahogany stripes, and ceilings in remainder of boat have light lining. Upholstery is 12 cm thick with sprung mattresses in aft cabin and resting on unvarnished, well ventilated boards to avoid condensation. Deluxe upholstery throughout. Hand holds are fitted throughout the boat. The boat is carpeted throughout, except directly in front of the galley, with press studs to avoid movement. Portholes and skylights are fitted with curtains. Lee cloths are fitted to saloon berths. Webasto warm air diesel fired cabin heater with 3 outlets.
SALOON:
A solid mahogany mast support is fitted adjacent to the main bulkhead. On port side there is an L-shaped settee. On the starboard side there is a straight settee. Both settee backrests lift up to provide extra width for sleeping or additional stowage. Two opening Portlights. Large dropleaf table with bottle stowage in centre section. Sony radio (FM/AM/LW) and iPod player, stereo speakers in main saloon and aft cabin. Avtex 19" TV/DVD player. Clock and aneroid barometer in main saloon.
GALLEY:
Working surface in white laminate with strong all around fiddle rail. Insulated icebox with 12v Frigomatic refrigeration unit and compressor. Stainless steel double sink. Pressurised hot and cold water with mixer tap. Nature-Pure drinking water purifier with additional tap in galley. Washing up liquid dispenser. Three burner SMEV gas cooker with oven, grill and electric ignition. Opening window over the cooker. Crockery locker and three drawers. Room for saucepans and other kitchen utensils.
HEADS COMPARTMENT:
Bulkheads and lockers in white laminate. Watertight shower stall, teak grating, china wash basin and large mirror. Shower curtain. Pressurised hot and cold fresh water. Mixer tap in wash basin is pulled out for shower use. Shower water drained by electric pump directly overboard without going into bilges. Pump action sea toilet. Anti-syphon valve on water inlet to head. Stainless steel holding tank. Cupboard above and below washbasin. Ventilation through ventilator, opening porthole and hatch.
FORWARD CABIN:
Two berths with ample stowage above and below and in addition a number of lockers. Hatch and opening porthole. Infill cushion. Locker door beneath port berth.
CHART TABLE:
Chart table with seat. 4 drawers and stowage slots. Instrument shelf. There is a large rubber sealed 2-door access to the engine room from the walk through. On the port side there are various cupboards. Electrical switch panel.
AFT CABIN:
Aft cabin has two hanging lockers, one with removable shelves. One single berth to port and one double berth to starboard. Locker door beneath starboard berth. Stowage room below and above. Central light. Two opening Port lights.
Mechanical Systems
Volvo Penta MD22P 4-Cylinder 57HP marine diesel engine, professionally serviced every year. Engine hours 2755 June 2024. The engine is freshwater cooled. Cam-belt changed 2024. Cutlass bearing changed 2024. J-prop 3 bladed feathering propeller with fixed 3-bladed propeller as spare. Ambassador Marine Stripper rope cutter. cutlass bering replaced 2024. Engine hour meter in the cockpit. Two stainless steel fuel tanks, total capacity approx. 345 litres. Two stainless steel water tanks, approx. 355 litres. Hot water tank 40 litres with 230v immersion heater. Webasto Airtop 32 Diesel heater with silencer in engine room, 3 outlets, thermostatically controlled.
ELECTRICITY:
One battery, 12v 60 Ah, for engine start. Two further Varta 12v batteries, totalling 280 Ah for the domestic electrical system. Batteries are located under the berth in the aft cabin. Charging of batteries is via a 60 A alternator and a blocking diode. Behind the chart table in the walkthrough is the instrument switch panel. There are gauges for the diesel and water tanks. 12v sockets at the chart table (2), in the cockpit (2), in the forward cabin (2) and in the aft cabin.
Full 230v shore power system with earth leakage device, 5 outlets and Mastervolt IVO 12v/25 A 3 step fully automatic battery charger and immersion heater.
All batteries replaced 2022.
