The Friendship 28 is a handy polyester sailing yacht and is known for its timeless design and good sailing characteristics. This Friendship is equipped with a complete sail quiver and the mast can be lowered while sailing to pass a bridge. The halyards, reefing lines and sheets are led back to the cockpit. The genoas are all furling and the sheet winches are selftailing. Navigation instruments are placed under the sprayhood next to the companionway entrance and are clearly visible from the tiller. The Volvo Penta 2002 diesel engine is serviced every year. During the last maintenance, the fuel pump was replaced and the fuel tank was completely cleaned. The solar panel keeps the batteries charged. Furthermore, the keel was stripped bare in 2022 and new epoxy applied. The underwater hull was treated with new antifouling in April 2024. The current owner has owned the boat since 2000 and the Friendship is overall in good condition .
The interior is originally fitted with teak by the Yard. The settee in the cabin can be used as berths. The leaves of the saloon table can be folded. The single starboard aft berth also functions as a seat behind the chart table. At the chart table there is a switch panel, volt and ampere meters and a VHF radio. The galley on the port side has a sink, 12V compressor cool box and Origo gimballed stove that can be stowed away after use. The stove runs on alcohol, so there is no gas on board. The forward cabin has a V-berth with a double berth. Between the saloon and front cabin on the port side is the heads with Porta Potti and sliding washbasin. There is cold running water with a foot pump in the galley and heads. Opposite the heads is a practical closet. The door of the closet can also be used to close the front cabin. The door of the heads can also be used to close the forepeak. The interior is practically designed and offers sufficient comfort for weekends on the water or a sailing holiday.
De Friendship 28 is een handzaam polyester zeiljacht en staat bekend om haar tijdloze ontwerp en goede zeileigenschappen. Deze Friendship is uitgerust met een complete zeilgarderobe en de mast kan varend gestreken worden om een brug te passeren. De vallen, reeflijnen en schoten zijn naar de kuip geleid. De genua’s zijn allemaal rolreef en de schootlieren zijn selftailing. Navigatie instrumenten zijn onder de buiskap naast de kajuitingang geplaatst en goed zichtbaar vanaf de helmstok. De Volvo Penta 2002 dieselmotor krijgt ieder jaar een servicebeurt. Bij de laatste onderhoudsbeurt zijn de brandstof opvoerpomp vernieuwd en is de brandstoftank helemaal schoongemaakt. Het zonnepaneel houd de accu’s bijgeladen. Verder is de kiel in 2022 kaal gehaald en opnieuw in de epoxy gezet. Het onderwaterschip is in april 2024 van nieuwe antifouling voorzien. De huidige eigenaar heeft de boot sinds 2000 in zijn bezit en de Friendship verkeerd in een nette staat van onderhoud.
Het interieur is volledig door de werf met teak ingetimmerd. De banken in de salon kunnen als zeekooien gebruikt worden. Van de salonntafel kunnen de bladen worden ingeklapt. De enkele kooi stuurboord achter functioneert tevens als zitje achter de kaartentafel. Bij de kaartentafel zijn een schakelpaneel, volt en ampere meters en een marifoon. De kombuis aan bakboord heeft een spoelbak, 12V compressor koelbox en Origo cardanisch kooktoestel wat na gebruik kan worden weggeschoven. Het kooktoestel werkt op brandalcohol en er is dus geen gas aan boord. De voorhut heeft een V-bed met een dubbele slaapplaats. Tussen de salon en voorhut is aan bakboord de natte cel met Porta Potti en schuifbare wastafel. Er is koud stromend water met voetpomp in de kombuis en natte cel. Tegenover de natte cel is een praktische hang/legkast. De deur van de kast kan tevens gebruikt worden om de voorhut af te sluiten. De deur van de natte cel kan ook gebruikt worden om het vooronder af te sluiten. Het interieur is praktisch ontworpen en biedt voldoende comfort voor weekeinden op het water of een zeilvakantie.
