UPGRADES AND WORK DONE
The boat was previously fully restored in 1995-1999
She was entirely stripped to bare wood ( inside and out ) and surveyed.
The hull was completely refastened to as-new spec with silicon bronze screws
Recently £3300 spent on hull replacing some planks and doing the anti-fouling in 2019.
Small areas of damage in the hull were repaired.
The carvel mahogany on oak hull is in great condition.
6 new 316 stainless steel keel bolts and corresponding 60mm thick oak floors were added.
A small number of replacement ribs were steamed in to double existing frames.
Deks Olje varnish applied topsides.
Fibre Glass on ply deck ( done at a previous refit )
The mast beam was rebuilt.
New 25mm main bulkheads were fitted , with mast beamsupport posts.
A complete new interior was built, using primarily mahogany.
The whole front end is new, as are the aft bulkheads
New hatches were made.
The roof was epoxy+cloth sheathed.
All coachhouse joints ( roof to sides/ sides to deck ) were epoxy taped and mahogany trim capped
