DAHLSTRÖM 34 - AN INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL SWEDISH CLASSIC. The boat was designed by Göran Dahlström in the early 1970s. Göran said he wanted to achieve a boat with unique sailing characteristics.

The first boat - a prototype - was built by Göran with the help of boat builder Edvin Henriksson. Edvin built boats in the old brick factory in Angelskog outside Ronneby.

The prototype had a flush deck and was launched in 1973. Then molds were made and about 40 boats were built in GRP. They are called Rhapsody 34. Lystal 1.17. Göran sailed a lot with the prototype. Among other things, he set a record at the Round Bornholm race (around Bornholm). A record which stood for about 17 years.

This Dahlström 34 is built "on plank". Keel plank, frames and frame in oak. Mahogany cladding. The deck is in plywood and Oregon pine. The boat was built 1986 -1989 on Tage Olsson on Saxemaravarvet outside Ronneby.

The engine was renovated in 2014 and has in 2018 and 2019 got new exhaust and starts. The rig was replaced in 2003. There are newer sails and navigation equipment. Sprayhood and cockpit tent are from 2017.

Under deck, the boat is nicely furnished in light wood. There are two good longitudinal sofas - and a dog kennel can be established in the salon. In addition, there is a card board in STB and a pantry by the down and BB side. In the bow there is a good double berth and stowage space. Toilet room (Porta Potti) - also for storing sailing clothes is located in the cubicle at the STB drop. The boat is located in Denmark, north of Copenhagend and must be seen!
