Accommodation
Below decks is a revelation when you consider how cramped her siblings the 26 and 32 are. 'Kilmore' is deep and has full standing headroom all the way to the forepeak. She has a generous beam and her interior fit out is in good condition. The access ladder is somewhat steep but once in the saloon you can be forgiven for thinking you are in a much larger yacht.
To port is the galley with a gas fuelled oven with 2-burner hob and grill. There is good storage outboard of the stove and a handy flip up preparation area adjacent. Perishables are catered for by a 12V fridge which is located in the storage area opposite the heads. Stainless steel sink with pressurised, yes you did hear right, pressurised hot and cold water which was added when the engine was replaced in 21010. The hand pumped original tap is still in place and this has an in line water cartridge filter to keep the water sweet.
Construction
GRP constructed yacht with 1.47M draft encapsulated lead keel. Skeg hung spade rudder with stainless steel stock and teak tiller. White painted topsides with 'Contessa' logo.
Deep cockpit with two good sized lockers to port and starboard. Moulded non slip side decks and coachroof.
Stainless steel stem head fitting with roller. Stainless steel bow and stern rails. Transom with boarding ladder. Inboard shrouds assist in easy access forwards to flush foredeck. Simpson Lawrence high speed manual windlass with chain locker.
Aluminium toerail. Mooring cleats.
