Relative informazioni Birchwood 29 AC
The Birchwood 29 is a semi-displacement cruiser, meaning it's designed to operate efficiently at lower speeds, particularly for cruising. It has a medium V-hull shape and a three-quarter length keel, contributing to its stable and manageable handling at slower speeds. These features, combined with its spacious interior, make it a popular choice for cruising and river boating. The air-draft - 2.89m - is relatively low which allows for cruising up rivers too. This boat has a very favourable survey from July 2021. She is also on shaft which makes maintenance less costly.
The accommodation has exceptional space, stowage and seating so would make an ideal livaboard. She is currently on a rented residential mooring so this maybe transferable to the new owners subject to marinas approval.
On deck there are some good features - wide side deck with grab rails on coachroof make moving around the boat feel safe. There is an aft deck on top of the aft cabin which allows for an outside seating area.
Engine and Electrics
The engine looks very clean for its age and will allow for economical cruising on rivers and estuaries. The engine is on a shaft which is a bonus and not often found on boats of this size. The engine bay is quite spacious which allows for easier maintenance. There are some engine spares on board.
2 batteries on a 12V system. Shorepower. Sterling Battery Charger.
There a modern fuse box and plenty of 240 plugs around the boat.

Seller comments
The Wheelhouse is bright and airey incorporating an enclosed saloon with table to port. The helm is located on starboard side and has excellent vision for the helm. There is also a sliding roof panel. Doors to aft lead to a small double berth with wardrobe and stowage. There is an en-suite heads with WC and Wash hand basin. Moving forward from the saloon are steps down to a spacious open plan cabin. The Galley is to port and features workspace, sink, stowage, draws, cupboards, 4 burner Hob and Oven. The oven looks as if it was never used as it is spotless inside. There is a settee/ single berth to starboard. Moving forward, a V berth which can be used as a dining area or as a double berth. An escape hatch is above. Note there are 2 rails that allow for a curtain to provide privacy to the forward double and also to the settee berth too if required. The head room is quite generous too - 1.82m in main cabin.
