Description
Copper Slipper is truly one of a kind. Hull number 380, this 30 ft Greyhound Slipper was built in 1954 by Andrews of Bourne for the millionaire couple, Mr and Mrs H Victor-Cozens of Henley. In 1970 she was bought by Danny La Rue and latterly owned by Frank Bough. Andrews Boathouses bought her in 2021 and since then she has undergone a full keel up restoration.
Some completely unique features of this beautiful launch include a Daimler 2.5 litre V8 engine which that produces a wonderful ‘V8 burble’. In addition, all the chrome fittings have been replaced with identical, one off, solid copper cast fitments and we have added a copper flake to the hull varnish for a wonderful glint in the sunshine. We have fitted a bow thruster to ease manoeuvrability through the locks, and we’ve fitted power steering for greater control and feel.
With a 30 ft launch you can seat upto eight people in comfort and the marine leather seating has been designed to maximise space and comfort and we have added a powered hood for ease and convenience.
