The sailing equipment consists of one aluminum mast and five sails: a mainsail, a furling genoa, a drifter (balloon jib), a spinnaker, and a storm jib that can be attached over the furling jib. The foresail is equipped with a furling system for easy reefing and rolling. The deck equipment includes a sprayhood, pulpit and pushpit, a guardrail, and fenders with lines. For anchoring equipment, there is an anchor with chain and line available.
Navigation and Safety
For navigation, there are various aids on board, including a depth sounder, a Sestrel Moore compass, a fixed Garmin GPS, and a Sailor VHF radio. The ship is equipped with a lifebuoy, a manual bilge pump, and a self-draining cockpit. The included Plastimo 6-person life raft was last inspected in 2018 and needs to be re-inspected.
History and Maintenance
This ship has served faithfully for the past 30 years and has been used for pleasure cruising, vacations, and longer trips to places such as Helgoland, the German Wadden Sea, the Baltic Sea, and southern England. The last antifouling treatment took place in 2023, and the ship is currently on the hard. The underside has been primed, and the current owner will apply a new antifouling layer before the sale.
