The woodwork is a combination of mahogany and teak. At some places, the wood shows signs of overdue maintenance. In addition to hydraulic steering, there is also the possibility of steering with a tiller, giving you the authentic sailing experience. The propulsion is provided by a 3-cylinder Nanni diesel engine. In our view, this is a beautiful sloop with a rich piece of history in the Dutch boating industry.
Eine elegante Schaluppe der renommierten Marke Wajer. Die Wajer Kapitänsschaluppe 7.20 wurde nach dem Entwurf einer englischen Schaluppe aus dem Jahr 1940 entwickelt. Der Überlieferung zufolge war die Schaluppe, genannt 'First Lady', die Grundlage des Unternehmens, das daraus hervorging. Die Polyester-Rumpf hat einer Dicke von 8 bis 12 mm. Volgens de overlevering stond de sloep, genaamd 'First Lady,' aan de basis van het bedrijf dat hieruit voortvloeide. De polyester romp van de sloep heeft een dikte van 8 tot 12 mm. Het houtwerk bestaat uit een combinatie van mahonie en teakhout. Op enkele plaatsen vertoont het houtwerk achterstallig onderhoud. Naast de hydraulische besturing is er ook de mogelijkheid om met een helmstok te sturen, wat bijdraagt aan een authentieke vaarervaring. De voortstuwing is een 3 cilinder Nanni dieselmotor. In onze ogen is het een prachtige sloep met een mooi stukje geschiedenis in de Nederlandse watersport industrie.
