The Pilot house 20 has been designed to take tough use and sea conditions in it stride. The hull features a reasonably deep forefoot with fine forward sections and pronounced flare developing into a moderate V aft. This shape combined with a moderate beam/length ratio results in a dry comfortable ride in rough seas without sacrificing traditional Orkney characteristics such as vice free handling, easy motion whilst drifting or at anchor and the ability to plane easily. A real versatility weekender , fishing boat or just pottering around coastal waters.
