- The electrical system of the boat is:
- Euro 380v 3 phase 50Hz, giving a single phase voltage of 220v or
- US 208v 3 phase 60Hz, giving a single phase voltage of 110v
- Shore supply will be provided via a single 100 amp 3 phase connection
- This will feed the onboard power system through an Isolation transformer (limiting fluctuations in shorepower voltage to +/- 4%)
- Glendinning Cablemaster system and remote control for shorepower
- A semi-automatic power management system is provided which configures the distribution system according to the available power sources
- Load protection is by magnetic circuit breakers and residual current devices at 300mA
- Main engine and generator start batteries are heavy duty valve-regulated leadacid types
- Batteries for console loads are Optima yellow top, spiral gel, deep cycle types
