This 1979 Westerly Konsort offers six berths in 2 cabins. It has a light and airy feel to the yacht which makes it feel spacious and comfortable for its size, boasting a simple yet practical layout. Accommodation :
This Westerly Konsort provides comfortable accommodation for up to six people across two cabins, with a maximum headroom of approximately 6 feet.
The forepeak features a V-berth with ample under-berth, and shelve storage to both port and starboard, this berth also easily converts it into a double berth via an infill, with natural light provided by an overhead deck hatch.
Moving aft, the separate heads compartment to the starboard side with a marine toilet, opposite the heads compartment is a stainless-steel sink set in a vanity unit, offering manually pumped cold water. This space also includes a wet hanging locker and storage behind and under the sink.
The saloon features a central folding table with two leaves, flanked by settee berths on both the port and starboard sides. These berths provide convenient storage under the seats and on shelves behind them. The port settee can also be easily converted into a double berth.
Located on the starboard side aft within the saloon, the galley is equipped with a gimbaled 2-burner gas hob with an oven and grill, a double stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, with the benefit of a separate manually pumped cold water feed, and ample storage space. This vessel also benefits from a 135 Litre freshwater capacity with an 135 Litre holding tank. Hot water is provided by the engine calorifier tank and a 240v immersion heater.
Adjacent to the galley is a forward-facing chart table with a Raymarine Chartplotter, GPS, VHF, JRC Radar, Battery indicators, ample storage for paper charts,12v sockets and vessel control switches. Located behind the chart table is a quarter berth with under berth and shelf storage.

History & Construction
Constructed by Westerly Yachts in 1979 according to an Laurent Giles design. Featuring a white GRP hull adorned with a teak toe rail and rubbing strake, self-draining cockpit, and white GRP decks and white non-slip painted surfaces. Its stability is ensured by a bolt on fin keels, with tiller steering.
The boat was last out of the water in 2024 when the anodes were changed and antifouled. The Gas system was also last certified in 2023.

This Westerly Konsort features a masthead Bermudan sloop rig, with a deck-stepped aluminium mast and boom and stainless steel standing rigging. Equipped with a furling headsail and a slab reef mainsail with lazy Jacks, this vessel allows for efficient sailing in various conditions. The age of the standing and running rigging is unknown.

This Konsort can achieve a cruising speed of approximately 6 knots, with a maximum speed of around 8 knots.
Electrical Systems:
The Westerly Konsort is equipped with three 12-volt batteries, comprising one for engine use, one for domestic purposes and one for the anchor winch. These batteries are charge directly from the engine alternator and a solar panel. All batteries were replaced in 2022.
This Westerly Konsort also benefits from a 240- volt ring main throughout the vessel and a battery management system to ensure optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.
