Westerly Fulmar 32 bilge Keel fractional sloop with a single diesel Bukh 20HP shaft drive engine with aft cockpit tiller steered. The vessel also comes with a new spray hood and new sails. The boat offers 6 berths with a separate forward owner cabin, a double berth port aft and 2 berths in the saloon. Ed Dubois designed and Westerly Marine built this iconic Westerly Fulmar, a solid construction cruiser sailing boat, in 1982. The vessel is currently lying at Ipswich Beacon Marina and is equipped with Chartplotter, Radar, depth log, Autopilot, Speed log, VHF and stack pack with lazyjacks with new sails.
Construction
Built to Lloyds HCC. White GRP hull, deck, coachroof, and self draining cockpit with blue styling lines on the hull. Tekdek laid cockpit seats. Teak rubbing strake and toe rail. Light blue painted non-skid areas on deck. Interior joinery of teak and teak faced marine ply with laminate work surfaces in galley area. Headlinings recently replaced. Self-draining aft cockpit. Cast iron bolt on bilge keels. Semi balanced spade rudder with tiller steering.
Mechanics
Bukh DV20ME twin cylinder 20hp diesel, Raw water cooling. Flexibly mounted. Direct drive to a two blade fixed pitch 3 bladed propeller via a mechanical reduction gearbox with reverse. Single lever controls. Electric starting. Cruising speed: 6 knots, maximum: approximately 6.5 knots.
Electrics
12 volt system - 3 x 12 volt batteries (engine start, and 2 x service) charged by engine alternator and 220v battery charger. Interior lighting. Standard navigation lights including port, starboard, stern, steaming, tricolour and anchor light. Mains system - 220 volt mains system with 2x 220v outlets and battery charger.

Rigging
Fractional Bermudan sloop. Kemp deck stepped silver alloy mast and slab reefing boom with stackpack & lazyjacks. Spinnaker pole. Headsail furling system. 1 x 19 stainless steel wire standing rigging. Terylene running rigging with controls including reef lines led aft to cockpit. Spinnaker halyard.
Accommodations
6 berths, Forward cabin with V berth, fore hatch and infill to form a double berth. Heads to port with manually operated sea WC, washbasin, hot and cold water and good stowage. Hanging lockers opposite to starboard. Saloon with settee berths each side and a folding leaf table. Galley with to starboard with stainless steel sink, hot and cold water, manual fresh water foot pump with Aquafilter, cool box with refrigeration unit, Plastimo Neptune 2000 gimballed gas cooker (with crash bar) and good stowage. Large chart table to port with navigators seat and wide single/narrow double quarter berth.
