Boat Overview
The Van De Stadt Madeira 44 is a proven offshore design for those who insist on safety, speed, and comfort. ‘Pobeda’ was built in the Ukraine to a very high standard, using epoxy mahogany strip planking, to give an extremely robust construction and displacement of 14 tons.
The design offers a large, comfortable interior, while on deck, the dog house provides protection for serious adventures in all weathers. The cutter rig with lines led aft ensures she is easy to handle, while a 75hp Volvo engine and 3.5hp generator provide reliable power.
With its impeccable design credentials, ‘Pobeda’ warrants serious consideration by anyone considering blue water adventures, at a fraction of the cost of a Scandinavian built alternative.
