Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised B – “Offshore”

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hull No. 35-007.
• Oxford Blue GRP hull with white superstructure.
• The underwater hull has been professionally coated in Coppercoat, renewed 2022.
• Teak trim.
• Diamond grey Treadmaster decks throughout.
• Traditional teak to aft deck area and top of aft deck seat lockers.
• Pilot type rubber fendering and spray rails to hull.
• Pilot boat-style rubber spray rails.
• Topsides polished April 2024.
• Stern-gear anti-fouled June 2024.
• Boot top painted June 2024.
• All exterior anodes replaced – June 2024.
• Hull polished June 2024.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 2 x 315hp Yanmar 6LP 6-cylinder diesel engines.
• Exhaust cooling water alarm system.
• Each engine has its own primary and secondary fuel filter.
• Both engine fuel injection pumps removed stripped, rebuilt and all necessary parts replaced 2021.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours are approximately 1160 (June 2024).
• Engine service April 2024.

Propulsion & Steering:

• Fitted with Twin Disc IRM 63A rotating propellers.
• 1 x ¾” diameter stainless steel shafts giving a maximum speed of 25 knots.
• Twin cast bronze airfoil rudders.
• Humphree active interceptors.
• ZF electronic throttles, dual station.
• Stripper type rope cutters and longer shafts.
• Vetus 55kg bow thruster with rocker switch at each helm station.
• Vetus 55kg stern thruster with rocker switch at each helm station.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• Remote Victron control panel in saloon.
• Voltage sensitive relay for split charging.
• 12v power sockets.
• 12v Dri-plug is fitted beside the aft deck wheel.

Battery Banks:

• Approximately 440 Amp hours battery capacity in two battery banks. 12v AGM batteries.
• AGM generator starter battery with individual Victron charger.

Battery Chargers:

• Two Victron multi-function battery monitors, one for each bank.
• Victron 12/2500W/120A inverter/charger supplying mains 240v voltage when shore power is not available.
• Battery charger.

Alternators:

• Yanmar 12V alternator to engine.

Generator:

• Fischer Panda 3.8kW generator.
• Remote generator control panel in saloon.

Shore Power:

• 240v Shore power with voltmeter, power supply to 240v ring main and hot water immersion heater. 6 sockets in all throughout.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• Eberspacher Hydronic 5 hot water and central heating system with three outlets; all individually controlled.
• Isotherm hot water heater via either engine heat exchange, 240v immersion heater or Eberspacher.

Bilge Pumps:

• Six electric bilge pumps with indicators at helm.
• Emergency manual bilge pump to aft cockpit.

Tankage

Fuel:

• TIPANIE has a total diesel fuel capacity of 319 gallons (1450 litres) in three fuel tanks which are integrally moulded into the keel section of the hull.
• The forward (reserve) tank, No.1, holding 55 gallons (250 litres) can be pumped into either of the other two tanks.
• Tank No.2 holds 143 gallons (650 litres).
• Tank No.3 holds 121 gallons (550 litres).
• The fuel supply lines are fitted with an emergency cross connection valve. This valve is for use in the unlikely event one of the engines should break down and thus enable all the fuel on board to be available to the remaining engine.
• There are inspection lids for tank cleaning.
• A comprehensive fuel polishing system is fitted.

Fresh Water:

• The two freshwater tanks in the lazarette hold 70 gallons (318 litres).
• A cartridge water filter system is installed.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• Black water holding tank system with electric pump out.
• The black water tank holds 19 gallons (87 litres).

Navigation Equipment

• Digital Yacht WL510 Wi-Fi system fitted and linked to the Connect 4G – now choice of full 4G or Wi-Fi in any port.
• Raymarine Axiom Pro 16 display (inside helm).
• Raymarine Axiom Pro 12 display (outside helm).
• Raymarine Quantum Doppler Radar scanner.
• Raymarine P70 Pilot control and I70 data screen displays at inside helm.
• Raymarine P70 Pilot control and I70 data screen displays at the outside helm.
• Raymarine hydraulic drive autopilot system.
