Regina af Vindö 43 is a deck saloon yacht built to the highest standards by Regina af Vindö in Henån, Orust, Sweden. It is a deck saloon yacht with an elegant low profile pilot house with a 360deg overview saloon and a nav station which provides excellent view and by means of the autopilot control here, a sea watch inside, well protected from the weather in full comfort, is a definite possibility during both long and short voyages.
This Regina 43 is from 2004. The second owner now sells a boat that he acquired in 2022 also via BoatAgent, why this boat is very well known to us. The boat has always been stored and serviced indoors during winter, initially in Finland and in the current ownership with Yacht Service Zealand, a shipyard in Nykøbing Sj., Denmark. (the boat has just been stored inside here for the winter)
This first owner ordered the boat with a Seldén Furlin mast. The granny bars, that comes in standard are still in place for any on deck work around the mast also in heavier weather at sea. Since 2021 the previous and now the current owner has further updated the instrumentation and improving basically everything that needed a fresh update in this very comfortable boat.
The boat is setup with a cutter rig having a furling genoa, a self tacking jib on furler and a spinaker/parasail cruising chute in a snuffer. In combination with the furling main system, this provides a very manageable yacht to sail short handed. Additionally, the winches in the cockpit are electric.
Down below there is a two cabin layout. The owners cabin is very spacious and is found aft in the boat. This master cabin has a toilet and separate shower ensuite with a built in combi washing maschine/dryer and having loads of stowage space in cabinets and cupboards.
The main guest cabin is found up front and can be configured as two berths or as a double with a small inlay. Adjacent to this cabin the second toilet with shower is found. Both toilets having a black water holding tank.
A few steps down from the deck saloon area, the galley and second seating area is found. Saying that the galley is spacious for a 43-footer sounds a bit like an understatement. Double sinks and double fridges as well as acres of work space and on the other side of the boat you find a settee for on-lookers to the cook, or with the small table installed, an everyday dinner seeting area for two.
All in all a blue-water cruiser built to the highest standards to be enjoyed anywhere in the world by a crew of two with guests.
