À propos de Peterson 44

English

The Peterson 44 was one of the early designs of Doug Peterson, a tough, seaworthy, ocean going cruiser with a fair turn of speed. She is also meant to be so well balanced that she can sail herself to windward.  This good example has had a major refit over the past 4 years with new electrics, engine, canvas work & much much more. A very rare find in British Waters - she has just had a full Post Construction Assessment done so is fully compliant with the latest RCD requirements.

Accommodation

The accommodation is light and airy with well finished teak joinery. There is full standing headroom, excellent ventilation and a wealth of stowage throughout. The layout offers up to seven berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation.

In the fore cabin, there is a good sized V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. The forward heads compartment has a marine toilet, shower and washbasin. There is access to the heads from the fore cabin and saloon.

In saloon there is a dinette to port which converts down to a double berth, with a single settee berth opposite. The forward facing chart table to starboard with instrumentation and control panel. Opposite to port is lovely U shaped galley with a Eno Bretagne four burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Isotherm water cooled fridge/freezer. Twin stainless steel sinks with a pressurised hot and cold water supply.  Manually pumped cold water back-up. Approximately 600 litre freshwater capacity in four stainless steel tanks .
