Remarks :
This 1969 Neptune 33 Ketch comes with an exceptionally large aft semi-enclosed cockpit with wheel steering. Her inventory includes a (2006) Beta Marine 37hp diesel engine (850hrs approx.), seven berths, furling genoa, slab reefing mainsail, self-tailing genoa sheet winches, chart-plotter, davits and more. She is a solid cruising boat with plenty of room. Viewing recommended.

Construction
GRP hull and deck with a long keel, under Lloyds, supervision and to + 100A1 certificate. Encapsulated cast iron
(no keel bolts to worry about),
Fitted out by J. M. Shuttlewood & Son Ltd. (UK)
Keel hung rudder (removed and serviced 2023).
Hull in Navy blue with white cove line. Decks in white and grey with moulded-in
non-skid patten.
Notes:

Hull below waterline taken back to bare gelcoat, all signs of damage and possible
blistering ground out and re finished (about 25 instances found, nothing larger than 3mm diameter). Bottom
painted with 7 coats of Primocon underwater sealer and primer. All done in 2015.

"Fastnet Moon" is an extremely strong, stable, secure boat and has a very easy motion in a rough sea with no
slamming. She is easy to sail in heavy weather with just Jib and Mizzen.
Her semi-enclosed helm position gives added protection from the elements and her large cockpit gives plenty of
room for entertaining guests.
She has been wintered ashore every year and her engine has been winterised and serviced every year.
