The Moody 346 is a well-built coastal cruiser with good sea keeping qualities with 6 berths in 2 cabins and saloon. This Moody 346 benefits from improvements such as a new engine fitted in 2010 with a new three bladed folding propeller with currently only 468 hours, the cutlass bearing that was replaced in 2020, a new mainsail in 2022, 50 meters of anchor chain that was replaced in 2023, a new Isotherm 12V fridge in 2024, a 2022 Raymarine Chart plotter with electronic charts, 180 Litre freshwater capacity, 40 Litre holding tank, new TV, upgraded cockpit speakers and much more. Accommodation :
This Moody 346 offers a total of six berths across two cabins and saloon. The forward cabin features a double V-berth, complete with under-berth storage and side shelves. The cabin also includes a wardrobe to starboard and a storage cupboard to port. The forepeak also offers an opening deck hatch overhead for ventilation and natural light.
The saloon consists of an off-centre table with folding leaves to starboard with a booth seating area to starboard and a settee to port with under-seat stowage and shelves spread behind the seating area.
The galley is located on the starboard and features a double stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, an Aqua Marine Neptune two-burner gas hob with oven and grill, a 2024 Isotherm 125L 12-volt fridge, and ample storage space. This Moody 346 benefits from a 180 Litre freshwater capacity, with a 40-litre capacity holding tank.
Located to port this Moody 346 boasts a rear facing navigation station accommodating full-size charts. Below the table, there is ample storage space for multiple charts, as well as housing a Phillips GPS, VHF and the electrical distribution panel.
Located behind the chart table on the port side is the heads compartment this consists of a single sink mounted in a vanity unit, pressurised hot and cold water with shower attachment, built-in shower tray, a marine toilet, and a mirror. Hot water is supplied by the engine through calorifier heater with a 240v immersion heater.
Moving aft on the starboard side leads to the rear cabin, this consist of a double berth to port with a new mattress and settee to starboard , under berth and side shelve storage. This cabin benefit from a hanging wardrobe two opening portlights, and two large windows giving the combination of allowing natural light and ventilation.
This Moody 346 benefits from a 2023 TV and radio/CD player with new cockpit speakers that need connecting.
The companionway houses the 2010 Kabota V2203 engine and also leads up to a large central cockpit with bench seating surrounding the wheel steering column with Compass and engine controls. Other navigation aids such as way Depth gauge, Wind direction and Speed log are located above the companion.

History & Construction
Built in 1986 by Marine Projects Ltd to a Bill Dixon design the Moody 346 has a white GRP hull and superstructure with non-slip deck surfaces. She benefits from a fin keel, wheel steering with a Skeg rudder, a self-draining cockpit and anchor well, with alloy toe rails, Stainless steel stanchions and pulpit. She was last out of the water in February to April 2024 when the hull was polished and anodes changed and re-antifouled.
The current owners have enjoyed and maintained the vessel for the last two years and have now bought a larger vessel. A previous November 2022 survey is available upon viewing.

This Moody 346 has a Masthead Bermudan Sloop Rig, with a Deck stepped aluminium Selden mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging that was replaced in 2013.
This vessel is equipped with a Profurl, furling headsail and a slab reef mainsail with lazy Jacks and stack pack that was replaced in 2023 and manual backstay adjuster. The running rigging was replaced in 2022.

Mechanical Systems:
This Moody 346 has a single 2010 45HP Kabota V2203 diesel engine, that was fitted in 2010, powering a shaft driven three bladed folding propeller with only 468 hours. The Kabota engine is supplied by a 150-litre capacity plastic fuel tank with Morse controls. This vessel was last serviced in 2023 with a new oil pressure gauge installed in February 2024 and the cutlass bearing was changed in 2020.
This yacht will achieve a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 7 knots.
Electrical Systems:
3 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine, 110AH 2019 + 2 x Domestic batteries, 110 AH 2019) all charging from the alternator, Wind generator and 240V Victron Blue battery charger that was installed in 2024.
This Moody 346 also benefits from a 240- volt shore power connection with a ring main throughout the vessel along with a 240V inverter and immersion heater.
