Great opportunity to own a Moody 33. This is the Mark 1 version and has been in the present ownership since 2013. During that time she has not been sailed hard and has been regularly maintained. However age and health mean that the boat is no longer pristine and needs some attention.
Currently ashore,she is ideally placed should a survey be required. Recently serviced Beta BD1005 inboard diesel, New batteries and reupholstered cushions in 2020.
6-Berths over 2 cabins and the saloon. Good standing headroom.
Mechanical
Vessel is powered by a Beta BD1005 inboard diesel engine. This 28hp workhorse has completed 1600 hours and been regularly maintained with most recent in February 2023. Twin Disc gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and 3 bladed bronze propeller.
Bank of 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These batteries are new 2023, fitted with isolators and are recharged via the engine alternator or the onboard charger. Shore power unit with RCD and cable.

Rigging
Sloop rigged yacht with aluminium deck steeped spars. Stainless steel standing rigging
and braid on braid running rigging. 2x genoa sheet winches and 3x halyard winches. Mainsheet track aft of wheel.
Slab reefing mainsail with cover. Roller furling headsail with UV strip.
Accommodation
Centre cockpit yacht with seperate aft cabin with 2-berths and a main cabin with separate fore cabin with forward V berth and 2 additional berths in the saloon.
Saloon has good standing headroom and features a chart table with pilot berth and a dinette with settee/berth.
Linear galley with gas fuelled 3-burner hob with oven and grill, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water and lots of storage. There is a 12V coolbox in a lop loading locker.
Between the saloon and the forepeak is the heads with sea toilet, hand basin and proper shower.
Forward cabin with V Berth and opening hatch.
Interior wood work is teak. Upholstery is an attractive nautical blue and was replaced in 2020. 12V lighting throughout.
Construction
GRP constructed yacht with cast iron fin keel, balanced spade rudder with wheel steering.
Deep safe cockpit with locker storage and access to both aft cabin and main saloon.
Nice wide side decks allow easy access forward around the boat. Open anchor well forward with electric windlass.
Stainless steel bow and stern rails conjoined with stanchions and double set of guardwires.
Boat is currently ashore and will need antifouled prior to launch.
