DESCRIPTION OF REFIT JANUARY TO AUGUST 2020 a thorough refit was carried out between January 2020 and August 2020 at MMH in Malta. Deck was completely changed and replaced with 32mm Marine plywood (Joubert) and MarineDeck 2000 (STAZO) Cork Decking 10mm. Centerboards - new S/S hinge pins changed and renewed. Prop 3 shafts removed with new bushing and bearings changed and realigned. Installed two electric winches for both Centerboards. Bobstay renewed with 12mm long link S/S chain. Masts re-built (70% new Douglas Fir wood). All standing rigging checked and refitted with new Leather (around masts). All new Running rigging replaced with Marlow Ropes. All Blocks rebuilt and painted. Hull topsides re painted with International Protection paint, and underwater sections painted with International Antifouling. Engine rooms completely re built (painted with fire retardant) and sound proof/fireproof 50mm insulation added throughout. All pumps either refurbished or renewed including ALL Hot and Cold water pipes changed. Installed Spectra water-maker. Installed AC system. Installed Galvanic Isolator. All Electrical wires replaced with new pumps and instruments/lighting etc. Shore power wiring renewed including sockets. Installed four Anderson winches on masts. Anchor well re painted. Water tank completely cleaned painted and all see-through Perspex covers renewed. Fuel tanks professionally cleaned and re painted with two-pack epoxy purpose paint system. Hull tested for thickness and rust all over. All seacocks replaced. Fridge compressors and pumps completely reserviced and checked. Hydraulic Steering system completely changed with S/S hydraulic pipes Inc. flexible tubes replaced. New continues hydraulic Raymarine Autopilot pump for steering renewed. Rudder bearings changed and refitted. Installed cabin Fans. All bronze Port Holes powder-coated on outside surface. Topsides re-spray painted. Underwater antifouling completely removed all older paint. All Anodes replaced every six months. Navigation station area completely improved and changed to suit new instrumentation. Exterior Navigation Lights including Mast Head and steaming lights renewed. All interior mattresses, cushions and pillows renewed. New and larger Awnings for main cockpit and mid section of yacht made in Sunbrella UV resistant material. Basically all wires pipes and any working system was renewed and replaced with top marine quality grade fittings and refitted by experienced marine tradesmen.
