The Beneteau Oceanis 281 is a popular family coastal cruiser with accommodation for up to 6 crew with an aft double cabin, open plan saloon with a V berth double in the bow and 2 single settee berths. The shallow draft keel (1.16m) opens up a wider range of cruising and mooring areas.
Construction:
GRP construction in White with shoal draft keel (1.16m) and spade rudder with tiller steering.
Mechanicals:
Volvo Penta MD 2010 - 10hp diesel with shaft driven 2 bladed propeller. Last serviced in 2023. Bank of 2 x 12V batteries provide engine start and service power, these charging via the engine and a shore power battery charger. Diesel cabin heating fitted.
Rigging and Sails:
Burmudan Sloop with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging.
Slab reefing Mainsail with Lazy Jack bag (Lazy bag replaced 2019).
Roller furling Genoa with UV strip (UV strip replaced 2019)
Accommodation:
Room for up to 6 with an aft double cabin, open plan saloon with V berth double and 2 single settee berths. Comfortable seating area, dining table with folding leaf. Galley to port with sink, pressurised hot and cold water, gas hob and grill, coolbox and storage. Navigation station to starboard with electronics, Garmin GPS MAP 230, Icom VHF and Ardic cabin heater controls. Separate head compartment with sea toilet, holding tank and washbasin.
