The First 211 is the second generation in the hugely successful 21 foot range from Beneteau. Fast and fun to sail, there is open plan accommodation for up to 4 adults. A great choice as a club racer or weekend cruiser, "Spindrift" benefits from a new mast and standing rigging fitted in 2019, other upgrades and a 2009 Keels on Wheels twin axle road trailer serviced in 2024.
Construction:
GRP construction with White hull and decks. Heavily ballasted swing keel (0.70m to 1.80m draft), twin rudders with tiller steering. The hull was last antifouled in 2023.
Mechanicals:
Powered by a Yamaha 5hp outboard, serviced annually (last serviced 2024) with charging coil. A single 12V battery provides service power.
Rigging and Sails:
Fractional Bermudan Sloop with deck stepped alloy mast and spars, replaced in 2019, along with stainless wire standing rigging. The majority of the running rigging was changed in 2024. Slab reefing mainsail with lazy bag. There is also a new Lazy Jack bag which has not been used yet. Roller furling Genoa with Luff Sock.

Accommodation:
Open plan cabin with V berth double forward and 2 quarter berths aft. The cushions have been re-upholstered. Space for a single burner hob to port and a small sink to starboard. Seating for four. There is storage for the Porta-Potti under the V berth. A boom tent adds greatly to the covered space making life on board more comfortable.
