Rare opportunity to purchase the highly desirable Arvor 250. This 2015 model wasnt launched until 2017 and is fitted with the new generation Mercury Cummins QSD2.8 inboard diesel. This 220hp unit has completed  completed 376 hours. Well maintained with most recent service in June 2024. Factory fitted extras include a bow thruster, Lenco trim tabs and an electric windlass. Smart light blue hull topsides, large self bailing cockpit, live bait well tank to rear and electric deck wash pump. Excellent helm position with twin seats. Electronic navigation system includes Lowrance HDS10 colour plotter/fish-finder with radar overlay.  Lowrance Link5 DSC VHF. 2-Berth cabin, heads, heating and gas hob.

Overview

There is little to compare the Arvor 250 in the 25 footer range of semi displacement angling boats. Whilst many builders have tried, few have managed to produce an out and out angling craft of this type. She does exactly as she says "on the tin" and offers a stable platform from which to catch fish.
There are no pretty padded cushions or alfresco dining options here. What we have is an enormous fishing space, an economical and powerful 2.8L Cummins QSD diesel, and a cab with an excellent helm position which gives 360 degree visibility. 
Smart pale blue coloured hull and white topsides. Underwater areas antifouled in March 2024 with new anodes introduced. Live bait well and deck wash pump, and an excellent electronic navigation package including Lowrance HDS10 all in one plotter/sounders. .

Vessel powered by a reliable and economical 220hp Cummins/Mercury QSD 2.8L diesel engine.
This 4 cylinder unit is fresh water cooled through a heat exchanger and has completed 376 hours (21-06-2024)
Most recent service was in June 2024. Single lever engine control at helm. 
Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 4 bladed bronze propeller.
12V onboard systems with bank of two 12V batteries providing engine start, domestic power and bow thruster.These are recharged via engine alternator.
There is a shore power cable providing 240V when berthed.
Bow thruster for increased manoeuvrability.

Accommodation

Whilst angling is the main focus of this boat it does have some home comforts.
For a start the boat is fitted with heating that runs of the engine and blows hot air into the cabin.
Forward of the helm is a heads compartment with chemical toilet. This compartment also has rod storage.
In the bow is a horseshoe shaped seating area. This has a table which doubles as a dining/drinks table or lowers to convert seating area to a large double berth.
Inside the cabin and to port is an additional double seat. This can be removed to reveal a galley unit with single burner hob and sink with pressurised cold fresh water.
Lots of natural light from roof and foredeck hatches. 12V lighting throughout. 

Construction

Robustly built GRP hull with smart pale blue topsides. Under water area antifouled and anodes changed March 2024.
Propeller protected by skeg. 4 bladed bronze propeller and stainless steel rudder.
Large self bailing cockpit finished in moulded non slip. Large engine bay hatches allowing excellent access all round. Offset wheelhouse with easy access forward when anchoring or angling. Large capacity anchor locker with Quick electric windlass and bow roller. Mooring cleats fore and aft with bow mounted mooring bollard. Foldaway wooden seats in cockpit. Life bait well and life raft storage locker at transom. Deck wash pump complete with hose. Bathing platform with inbuilt ladder. Transom access gate.
