English

"Jaynor" is a stunning 1967 Arthur Robb-designed 42 ft cutter, masterfully combining classic elegance with modern amenities for safe and comfortable cruising. Widely regarded as Robb's finest creation and originally commissioned for the Admiral’s Cup, this yacht was built to Lloyds +100A1 standards by the Bangor Ship Company. She features a double-skinned Afzelia hull, teak coachroof, and teak laid decks, with a lead keel supported by bronze bolts and floors. Her condition is superb, with no rot or soft wood anywhere.

Jaynor has been fully restored to her original glory, with extensive upgrades including a rebuilt Beta 50 engine, new rigging (2015), and advanced navigational equipment such as Raymarine Quantum radar (2021) and an Axium 9 plotter (2019). Her sail inventory includes two heavy-duty Crusader mainsails (2019) and a variety of hanked-on racing sails, making her versatile for both cruising and racing.

On deck, she’s equipped with a Torkmaster windlass, a monitor windvane system, and recently cleaned copper water tanks (2023). Below deck, Jaynor comfortably sleeps up to 8, with a cabin showcasing varnished teak finishes, Eberspacher heating, and updated upholstery. The well-appointed galley features a Domenic 3-burner oven/grill and fridge. Located in Dumbarton, she is ready for viewing and her next adventure.
