Stars and Stripes is one of six custom yachts built for the 34th America's Cup in San Francisco, designed to provide VIP spectators with an exceptional experience. This 45ft Powercat is an ideal project for conversion into a day charter passenger boat, cargo vessel, or even a custom cabin cruiser.
Constructed with cored bi-axial laminate, carbon reinforcement, and Vinylester resin resulted in a hull that is stiff as steel. The vessel sustained hull skin damage during Hurricane Irma in 2017, which has since been repaired to a functional standard, though the roof remains a temporary, non-watertight solution.
The port hull is configured to accommodate separate male and female WC facilities (toilets are included but not currently installed), while the starboard hull serves as a galley and drinks preparation area. The bridge deck and stern are open and spacious, offering guest seating for up to 15 passengers with safety and comfort in mind.
Powered by twin Volvo IPS engines with Dynamic Positioning for precise control and fuel efficiency, Stars and Stripes has the capacity to cruises comfortably at 20 knots and can reach speeds exceeding 25 knots, though the engine conditions are currently unknown.
With significant potential for customization, this yacht presents an excellent opportunity for resorts, businesses, or private owners seeking a versatile and stylish vessel.
