Powered by a state-of-the-art 48V triple lithium-ion battery pack, the boat offers a completely solar-powered vessel with no fuel costs and a greatly reduced maintenance schedule compared to traditional fossil fuel-powered boats. This vessel is guaranteed 1000 charge-discharge cycles – about 10 years of failure-free operation !!! The electric motor is both powerful and silent, allowing for a serene boating experience without noise or exhaust.
Performance and Range
The Sunrise Ecotender 700 is equipped with a high-efficiency electric motor that delivers impressive performance. It can reach a top speed of 20 knots and offers a cruising speed of 15 knots. The 48-volt solar power system features bifacial solar panels (charge from both sides) that provide a virtually unlimited range at cruising speeds. While this vessel does have a plug for charging, power is never a concern with this vessel in sunny Florida.

The entire retractable roof of the vessel is bifacial solar panels that charge both from the sun coming down to the boat as well as the reflected light off of the water. These panels carry a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and are engineered to provide powerful charging capability for many years to come.
