Columbine has been in the same family ownership since new and I have sailed her for the last 12 years. She is the twin keel version of the popular Leisure 27 cruising yacht.
She has been carefully maintained and updated including new standing rigging (2022) and sails (2022-2024) and new Antal XT30 two speed self tailing primary winches and is ready to sail away next season with no work required. The key recent updates and improvements are as follows:-

She has a Nanni 2.14 inboard diesel engine which had a major overhaul including reconditioned injectors in 2021. This has been totally reliable and starts first turn of the key. There is a link on the website to a video which I made in November to demonstrate a cold start before the engine was winterised.
As you will see from the pictures there are a few minor scuffs on the gelcoat and the interior (whilst warm, dry and comfortable) shows the usual wear and tear associated with a boat of this age that has always been sailed rather than parked in a marina.
The Leisure 27 is renowned as a sturdy sea going yacht with great accommodation for her size with six foot standing headroom throughout. She has six berths and is well set up for long distance cruising including a Pacific Light windvane self steering and Raymarine tiller pilot. There is also a very active owners association (https://leisureowners.org.uk/) which is extremely helpful for owners.
Her shallow draft is perfect for exploring the east coast rivers and creeks and the twin keels allow her to take the ground easily and be kept on a drying mooring to save costs.
The Leisure 27 is an ideal boat for family cruising or easy to sail single handed. We have sailed her around the east coast and across the North Sea for the last 12 years, but I’m looking to move to a pure racing yacht now the family are older.

-Lazy jacks for ease of sail handling. Stack pack sail cover system for main also included if preferred.
-Cruising chute with snuffer (age unknown, couple of small patches, but overall good condition)
