Description
The Hanse 430 is a modern family cruiser providing excellent and stylish accommodation in three double cabins with twin heads and a great performance with a self-tacking jib and mainsail stackpack system. This yacht is well equipped and presented in excellent condition having had only two owners from new. A 2023 survey is available and early viewing is highly recommended.

Accommodation
The layout offers up to seven berths with three double cabins and single in the saloon. Two heads, one en suite to forward cabin. Approx. 6'5" headroom in saloon and 6' 3" in the forward cabin.
Master cabin: forward with large double berth, vanity unit with seat, storage and hanging cupboards. En-suite heads compartment with Jabsco marine toilet (serviced 2024), holding tank, wash basin and shower with electric pump out.
Saloon: C-shaped seating area to starboard with folding dining table. Seating to port with central chart table. Full 12v switch panel, instrumentation and Avtex TV/DVD player. Two opening hatches over saloon and two opening windows on each side of the coachroof.
Galley: Traditional L-shaped galley to starboard with twin stainless sinks with hot and cold pressurised water, fridge with top and front opening doors, Techimpex gas cooker with twin burners and an oven (new 2020) and ample storage.
Aft heads: with Jabsco marine toilet (serviced 2024), holding tank and wash basin. Separate shower compartment with seat and electric pump out.
Aft cabins: Two double aft cabins with large double berths, opening hatches and hanging cupboard. Eberspacher Airtronic D5 diesel fired cabin heating system with six outlets. Curtains and blinds to ports and hatches. Navy blue leather upholstery in saloon. Bespoke bedding in sleeping cabins.
Mechanical Systems
Yanmar 4JH4E, four cylinder, 55hp inboard diesel engine. Fresh water cooled via heat exchanger. Saildrive leg with Brunton Autoprop three blade feathering propeller (refurbished 2023). Two blade fixed propeller as a spare. 230 litre stainless steel fuel tank giving a range of approx. 600nm. Last serviced March 2023.
MaxPower retractable bow thruster.
Electrical Systems
3 x 12 volt 110ah domestic batteries plus 80ah engine start battery (all batteries new 2024). Batteries charged by engine alternator. 240 volt shorepower system with Kisae 60amp battery charger (new 2024), immersion heater and ring main. Galvanic isolator. Portable inverter. Battery monitoring system (new 2024). 12 volt interior LED lighting.
Sails and Spars
Fractional rigged bermudan sloop. Sparcraft silver anodised aluminium, deck stepped, double swept spreader mast and boom. Original stainless steel standing rigging, professionally checked in June 2023 with no recommendations required. Adjustable backstay tensioner. Terylene running rigging. Solid kicker. Self-tacking track on foredeck. Slab reefing mainsail with two reefs. Facnor headsail furling system fitted below deck with control line led aft. Halyards and control lines led aft to 10 Spinlock clutches. 2 x Lewmar 46 self-tailing halyard winches (the starboard winch is electric) on the coachroof. 2 x Lewmar 46 self-tailing sheet winches. Mast steps. Spinnaker deck gear. Adjustable backstay.

Built in 2008 by Hanse Yachts to a Judel/Vrolijk & Co design. White GRP hull with white decks/superstructure. Underwater hull epoxied and Coppercoated from new and epoxied again in 2018 after removal of the Coppercoat. Teak covered decks, coachroof, cockpit seats and cockpit floor. Cast iron shoal draft fin keel 1.8m/5'11". Spade hung rudder. Twin steering wheels with open self-draining transom. Two large cockpit lockers plus full width lazarette locker. All seacocks replaced between 2021-2023.
